Time flies when you're having fun! We are super excited about this release and are confident that VectorZero RoadRunner 2019.1 brings some valuable updates to you. This should be a minor release but it's packed with some pretty major improvements! Without further ado, here’s what you can look forward to:
EXPORT:
Direct-to-CARLA export
New export format (GeoJSON)
VIRES VTD export
OpenDRIVE and other export improvements
IMPORT:
OpenDRIVE road plan geometry is now exactly preserved after import and better handles bad data
NEW MODELING FEATURES:
Explicit Road Curves (support for clothoid spirals, line segments, arcs & parametric cubics)
Cubic road elevation to support importing cubic elevation from OpenDRIVE
Improved road and marking triangulation, and road projections
Improved support for non-georeferenced GIS data
Prop polygons now have an option to place props in a uniform grid
UX IMPROVEMENTS:
