It's not often we find technology that can be confused with a girlfriend, but CARLA is a fine example. Not to sound like a dating app profile, but for those of you new to the autonomous driving and autonomous vehicle space, CARLA is an open-source stack that has been developed from the ground up to support development, training, and validation of autonomous driving systems. The simulation platform supports flexible specification of sensor suites, environmental conditions, full control of all static and dynamic actors, maps generation and much more. Oh, and the most important part, roads and environments created in VectorZero RoadRunner are a perfect compliment!

Here's a little shot of CARLA in action (featuring roads and environments crafted in VectorZero RoadRunner):

You probably noticed (at 1:36 in the video) some nice improvements to the workflow connecting VectorZero RoadRunner and CARLA. Together, we are trying to make it quick and simple to connect our worlds. This is just the beginning so stay current on your RoadRunner version and CARLA releases to benefit!
